#respectart I've seen some horrible people treating art with incredible disrespect. This behavior is not merely intolerance to the artist's decisions, but complete ignorance to the form of art. I've seen some people treat digital artists as if they are cheating and not making real art, I've seen people treat electric violinists the same way. I've seen elders confiscate skateboards for no given reason, maybe just because of the connotation of the group. I've seen makeup artists given poor treatment for the model they've chosen. The amount of hate artists receive for the things they create by ignorant people is disheartening. All I ask is that these people who won't take the time to learn about the art form, simply relax, if they're not going to ask questions, just respect the art and the artist. You don't have to agree, you don't have to argue, just respect it. Doing this will help you better appreciate art, it's meaning to the artist, and how it affects you. So many things can be considered art, drawing, music, skating, food, makeup, etc. so I ask that people take a moment to acknowledge art when they see it.
