Prince of Ice

Four and a half years ago in 2010 after I finished my first book and started toying with the idea of a new Shadows generation in which Mark's great-grandson, Iszeldier would be the main character. I decided early on he would have the power of Ice and Inhibitor, and then expanded on that idea in 2012 when I did an RP with a friend of mine. I've drawn up several ideas for Iszeldier's appearance in the past all involving spiky white hair, two-tone cyan and red eyes, and a childish personality even having a troubling past.

So now that I've established that Iszeldier is not a Elsa gender bend and he existed long before the movie Frozen came out, we may proceed to talk about art. Iszeldier Halo is thirteen years old, his parents are Julian and Marigold Halo and he has the powers of Shadow Frost and Shadow Inhibitor, the dual shadows cause his eyes to change color as he uses them and he can alternate cherry and cyan at will. This took me around 16 hours of work straight through over the course of five days, Saturday to Wednesday. Iszeldier's hair and eyes are especially detailed and I have a folder in my favorites with many of the Ice and frost brushes I used for this picture.
